The Betrayal by the American Elites

When loving God, neighbor, and self diminish in importance, society self-destructs as people engage in an orgy of power and pleasure-seeking, group and class identity and strife, and madness. How would you describe a culture in which a football star serves two years in prison for promoting dog fights, but abortion clinics receive government funding to butcher unborn babies? One could refer to it as loveless and insane, to say the least. How would you call an American political, cultural, economic, and bipartisan elite, which deals with an economic crisis of their own making by mortgaging our children’s future with over $12 trillion in debt? It could be called corrupt and shameless.

We are now at a point in our national decline where everyone seems to be at war with each other, and the elite has no clue about moral discipline and the common good. It is mostly concerned with “not letting this economic crisis go to waste”. Therefore, they are abusing the public trust and moneys to promote a Fascist Socialist agenda, by actions similar to the politics of Third-World countries and of Chicago. These are usually associated with deficits, debt, intimidation, contempt for the governed and corruption. They use the budget and the debt to reward allies and to punish enemies. As a result, America’s elite has lost the trust of the average American. There are many reasons for their mistrust.

  • The Congress passed a stimulus bill of $1.3 trillion without even reading the document. It now wants the government to run banks, corporations, health care, education, and energy when it has not been able to effectively manage the borders, Social Security, Medicare, the Post Office, and other programs. They can not be trusted.
  • Congress and the courts will use hate-speech legislation to punish those who criticize the political elite while permitting the use of hatred by their allies. They can not be trusted.
  • The President is a pathological liar who has misled the American people in such issues as tax breaks, transparency, bipartisanship, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan, among others. His model for America is Socialist Western Europe, a dying people culturally and demographically, and California, a bankrupt state declining under the pressure of anti-growth environmentalists, high taxes, over-spending, massive government regulations, and illegal aliens. This is the future of America! He can not be trusted.
  • The Supreme Court is unwilling to protect unborn babies, property rights, civil liberties, and American sovereignty. They can not be trusted.
  • The Department of State is willing to transfer much of American sovereignty to the United Nations a corrupt, anti-human rights, and anti-American organization, or to transnational financial entities under the control of the Europeans. They can not be trusted.
  • The media, for the most part, are too politically biased and ideologically narrow to cover the news in a fair manner. Many have abandoned professional journalism for political activism, and tend not cover news embarrassing to their political allies. Their indignation is very selective. They can not be trusted.
  • Universities, for the most part, have become intolerant places of Fascist Socialist political indoctrination, instead of places where students are able to exercise critical thinking skills and liberal education. Many professors have abandoned education for political activism. They can not be trusted.
  • Some environmentalists make sense. Others are often more concerned with the well-being of endangered species and other resources than with human needs. Many environmentalists are not Greens, but are really Reds, Blacks, and Browns, who have a compulsion to control the totality of our lives. They can not be trusted.
  • Republicans under President George W. Bush, with Democrat support, undermined our system of checks and balances by creating massive debt and regulation, and introducing Socialist bailouts, and have mistaken free trade with trade with un-free countries such as Cuba, Venezuela, and others. They can not be trusted.
  • The Democrats have been hijacked by intolerant collectivists who seek to destroy our constitutional republic and our free market system. They can not be trusted.
  • Most Americans are now being corrupted by the government elite with revenues they did not earn, but which were taken from productive persons in gangster, Marxist-like fashion. They can not be trusted.
  • America-bashing, race and class obsessed, submissive (to Muslims), and history illiterate President Obama is following Clinton and Bush with his unwillingness to acknowledge that Islam is a religion of submission not peace, and that it is incompatible with our civil liberties. They can not be trusted.
  • The foreign policy elite has sacrificed the lives of thousands of Americans, mostly Christians, to unconstitutionally promote the cause of Islam in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Iraq, Kosovo, and even in the United States. They can not be trusted.
  • The anti-American and anti-Christian Hollywood elite pollutes our children’s minds with filth. They can not be trusted.

Connecting all these dots reveals the onslaught of Fascist Socialism upon our country. Their Christophobia makes them hate the Church. Their model is not Marx, Lenin or Mussolini but Lucifer, who wanted to replace God and His order (Isaiah 14:12-14). He would not serve Him. Therefore, the first step to combat the Fascist Socialists is to love God and to follow His will, so that He can heal the country through us. We can not do it ourselves. It is said “that to them that love God, all things work together unto good.” (Romans 8:28). The second step is to love the Fascist Socialists and to pray for them for they are our kin. Other steps will be presented in a future essay.

Libertarians urge “no” vote on $1.9 trillion Waxman-Markey tax hike

Pelosi hopes to rush tax hike to a vote this week

WASHINGTON — America’s third largest party urged the U.S. House Tuesday to defeat plans for a $1.9 trillion energy tax hike over eight years.  House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is attempting to rush H.R. 2454, the Waxman-Markey energy tax bill, to a vote this week.

“With unemployment rising above and beyond what President Obama said it would be with the multi-hundred billion dollar stimulus bill, now is not the time to dismantle our economy with a multi-hundred billion dollar energy tax hike,” said William Redpath.

“Libertarians urge House members to defeat this job-killing tax hike on Americans,” said Redpath.  “Libertarian candidates are out there every day proposing proven solutions to create the jobs we need and restore our prosperity.  This $1.9 trillion tax hike would destroy millions of jobs and impose dramatically higher prices for everything.”

At nearly 1,000 pages, H.R. 2454, sponsored by Democrat Reps. Henry Waxman and Edward Markey, imposes new taxes on anyeconomic activity that produces carbon dioxide. Pelosi hopes to rush the bill to a vote, despite no net temperature increase globally over the last decade, significant research showing man-made carbon dioxide isn’t changing the climate and opposition from thousands of scientists.

The economic impact would be harsh.  According to research from the independent, non-partisan Heritage Foundation, the bill would have devastating impacts on the average American family.

The research found that by 2035, gasoline prices would increase 58 percent, natural gas prices would increase 55 percent, prices for home heating oil would increase 56 percent, and worst of all, electricity prices would jump 90 percent.

While the average American would pay the tax once in the form of higher energy prices, they also pay it again in higher costs for goods that must be manufactured and services that must be provided using energy.

The average family of four could see $2,979 in higher prices per year, paying $4,609 more in 2035 alone. The total costs to the average family in higher prices, from 2012 to 2035, reach $71,493.

The bill would also destroy millions of jobs, even taking into account Obama administration promises of new “green” jobs.  The research finds an average annual job loss of 1,145,000 jobs per year because of Waxman-Markey. In the worst years, 2,479,000 Americans will lose their jobs annually under Waxman-Markey.

Libertarians recommend Senate defeat Koh nomination

Obama nominee to negotiate treaties says U.S. must adopt “global gun control”

WASHINGTON — America’s third largest party Tuesday recommended the Senate defeat the nomination of Harold Koh to be State Department legal adviser, citing a history of opposition to gun rights and national sovereignty.

“The State Department legal adviser is supposed to protect our national sovereignty in treaty negotiations and negotiate pacts that uphold the Constitution and protect Americans’ rights.  Under no circumstances should the Senate confirm someone who believes the Constitution should give way to what he calls ‘the global rules,’” said Donny Ferguson, Libertarian National Committee Communications Director.

“That alone disqualifies him from representing the United States in treaty negotiations,” said Ferguson.

If confirmed, Koh would play a major role in negotiating treaties such as the proposed “Inter-American Convention against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials” (CIFTA.)

The treaty — backed by Obama and Koh — requires all guns to be marked and tracked by the government.  Obama has urged the Senate to adopt it.

In a lecture titled “A World Drowning In Guns,” reprinted in the May 2003 “Fordham Law Review,” Koh praised CIFTA as “thebest model” for international gun control.

More troubling, Koh claims it requires signers “to standardize national laws,” that “the only meaningful mechanism to regulate illicit transfers is stronger domestic regulation,” and that “control measures within the United States” must be adopted.

In the lecture, Koh urges the creation of “a global system of effective controls on small arms and light weapons” and a “global gun control regime,” specifically targeting the kinds of weapons many persecuted peoples must own to protect themselves from aggression.  He blames international violence and the rising numbers of refugees, not armed governments, but on “men with guns.”

Koh’s solution?  Strip people of their guns and trust weapons to the corrupt governments often responsible for the very violence Koh cites.

Koh has also repeatedly demanded the United States submit to “transnational legal processes” and “transnational jurisprudence,” in which laws intended to protect our national sovereignty and constitutional rights could be overruled by international authorities.

That clashes sharply with the Libertarian Party, who upholds both the Second Amendment and the United States’ national sovereignty.

“Libertarians believe that what makes America safe and free are our constitutional rights and our hard-fought freedoms.  While the Constitution guarantees those freedoms from infringement by our federal government, it is now up to the Senate to protect that Constitution from other countries who view our constitutional freedoms as deviations that must be eliminated through the kinds of treaties and global laws Koh has promised to fight for,” said Ferguson. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has scheduled a Wednesday vote on the Obama nominee, who served as Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor in the Clinton Administration.

Constitution Party Says No To Sotomayor

Posted in Comentario by alvarezgalloso on junio 24, 2009

Dear Fellow Constitutionalists,

It’s imperative we keep President Obama’s Supreme Court pick from being confirmed.

Please contact your US Senators and urge them to vote against the confirmation of Judge Sonia Sotomayor.

Won’t you take a moment to cut and paste the following press release, and send it along with a short message to your senators today?

If you’re unsure of your senators’ contact info check here:  http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

Constitution Party Opposes Sotomayor Confirmation

Unanimous Vote Urges Senate to Nix Obama Nominee

Lancaster, PA: The Constitution Party  National Committee unanimously passed a resolution urging the U.S. Senate to deny the confirmation of President Obama’s pick for the Supreme Court, 2nd Cir. Appeals Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor.

The resolution was agreed upon at the party’s recent National Committee Meeting held in Newark, N.J.

Constitution Party members from more than 30 states attended the meeting where the resolution was approved. The resolution strongly decried Obama’s pick for Supreme Court judge for her lack of adherence to the principles necessary to rule objectively as a justice of the country’s highest court.

The resolution cites Sotomayor’s lack of fidelity to the Constitution in a number of areas including her denial of ” the applicability of the individual right to bear arms protected by the 2nd Amendment to the citizens of the several states;” because “she supports giving voting rights to convicted murderers who are still serving time in prison…”; because ” she has been a member of the National Council of La Raza, many of the leaders of which favor amnesty for illegal aliens and the return of the southwest United States to Mexico…” and because “she favors racial and ethnic quotas in education and employment…”

Constitution Party National Committee Chairman Jim Clymer said “Americans from across the political spectrum have little patience with the kind of blatant bias this woman has shown in the past through her affiliation with a racist group and her pronouncements that a woman of her race could be a better jurist than a “white male” (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/05/28/in-her-own-words-sotomayor-2001-latina-speech/).

“President Obama has hand-picked another cog in the wheel in the mechanism he’s designing to abrogate the Constitutional rule of law and its guarantees of liberty for all Americans. Sotomayor simply should not be given the opportunity to carry out her practice of substituting personal ideology for the Constitution on the highest court of the country”, Clymer added.

The Constitution Party adopted other resolutions including a condemnation of the federal government’s so-called “bailouts” of the private banking and auto industries. (http://constitutionparty.com/news.php?aid=971)

Kirk It Won’t Work [Libertarian Party of Illinois]

Posted in Partido Libertario/LP by alvarezgalloso on junio 22, 2009

U.S. Representative Mark Kirk (R-IL) announced this week legislation to stiffen criminal penalties on the distribution of a more potent type of marijuana.

“Kush” is the common street name of this type of drug. Kirk’s proposed legislation, entitled the High-Potency Marijuana Sentencing Enforcement Act of 2009 (H.R. 2828) would increase federal fines and sentences for distributors of Kush. Sentences of 20 to 25 years, depending on the circumstance, as well as fines in the millions of dollars, are included in the proposed legislation.

“With all due respect to Congressman Kirk, he doesn’t get it,” said Dave Brady, State Chair of the Libertarian Party of Illinois. “We need to stop spending time and energy attempting to combat the use and distribution of drugs.” “In a free country, whatever people choose to put into their own bodies is their own business, whether it’s drugs, alcohol, tobacco, coffee or cheeseburgers. The job of government is to protect our freedom, not to act as our Big Brother,” added Brady.

A recent Wall Street Journal article with the headline: “White House Czar Calls for End to War on Drugs” mentions that the Obama administration’s new drug czar, Gil Kerlikowske, favors a shift toward treatment over incarceration to reduce drug use. Though the article indicates that Kerlikowske doesn’t favor the legalization of drugs, it’s a step in the right direction.

If money is to be spent fighting drug use, why not use it to try to help someone instead of putting them in jail? The horrendous situation in Mexico, with thousands of deaths in the past few years, as well as the amount of violence and number of murders in Chicago due to drug trafficking, indicate that banning drugs only puts more guns in the hands of criminals, and too often, innocent people get hurt or killed. There are far too many individuals in prison for either possession or distribution of drugs.

The decades long “War on Drugs” has been a big waste of time and taxpayer money. Police should be devoting more of their time on crimes in which there is a victim. An end to the drug war would result in an immediate drop in violence and a safer atmosphere in areas that need it the most.

Republicanos y Democratas Hablan De Los Derechos Humanos En Iran Ocultando Su Hipocresia En Su Propia Casa

Posted in Comentario by alvarezgalloso on junio 21, 2009

Dean Santoro Talks

Posted in Comentario by alvarezgalloso on junio 15, 2009

The State of Florida is smack in the middle of the transition from a low cost/low wage state to a high cost/low wage state. And what does this mean for the citizens and taxpayers? It means brace yourselves for more government, more bureaucracy and even more taxes.

Rumblings have been going on for several years now in regards to instituting a state income tax on your wages to generate more revenue for the state to feed it’s insatiable desire for tax dollars. Instead of lowering costs and shrinking the size of government, elected officials are relentless in their pursuit of big government.

Many of you feel powerless to stop the freight train of taxation thundering down the tracks. But there is something you can do. You can support and help fund a candidate that owes no allegiance to any of the more than 1,000 registered PACs.

Yes you did see that right – there are more than 1,000 registered Political Action Committees (PACs) in the state of Florida working AGAINST YOU! All that is needed for any establishment hack to get elected is for a few hundred PACs to kick in the maximum $500. That’s over $100,000 in donations… plenty enough dry powder to get their corrupt, disingenuous message to enough voters who haven’t the time to conduct diligent research on candidates.

And who tells the PACs who the “right” candidates are to contribute to? Well the PACs would have you believe the process is purely democratic. They issue questionnaires every election cycle and supposedly, depending on how the candidate answers the questionnaire, they will make a decision to contribute.

Yea right… fat chance. In march the lobbyists to set the record straight and off go the checks to the predetermined candidates. Ever wonder why professional lobbyists represent multiple PACs? It’s not rocket science folks, but it sure does serve to pull the wool over your eyes while giving the PACs, the lobbyists and the political establishment enough plausible deniability to skate criminal conspiracy charges.

Don Corleone is dancing the jig on a cloud.

But you can do something. You can support
Dean Santoro in the race for State House District 107. Let the PACs donate $500 each to their bought and paid for candidates. We are millions of citizens in Florida. I am calling all of the freedom loving Floridians to reach far and wide across the state – by phone, by email, by letter, by every means available. I humbly ask those who proclaim to want representation that not only resembles but MIRRORS what you would do if you were sitting in Tallahassee, solidify your support of my candidacy with a donation today and encourage all of your freedom loving friends to do the same.

Dean Santoro will:
Never allow his vote to be bought or sold
Never vote for a tax increase of any kind
Never be influenced by special interest groups
Fight tooth and nail against every piece of legislation that chips away at your freedoms

That’s what you get for your money when you contribute to Dean Santoro. It doesn’t matter if you live in Pensacola, Orlando, Miami or Key West… the votes I will make in Tallahassee effect you in EVERY corner of the state. And if you live outside of Florida, your support can help tremendously. Remember, any time a freedom loving person is elected anywhere in the country it is a win for all Americans.

You can be a part of history in this campaign.

The establishment is betting against me.
The lobbyists are betting against me.
They are all banking on your indifference and apathy.

Show them they are wrong. Please click go to my website www.deansantoro.com and click on the contribute button and give whatever you can afford today. My voice is your voice.

Your contribution to my campaign means you hire ME to represent you.

Each and every one of you who donates to my campaign will receive my personal cell phone number. And I promise to hear your point of view on legislation, not the lobbyists and special interest group PACs.

Your contribution means you hire me to work for you leading the charge in Tallahassee for less government and lower taxes… MUCH less government if I have my way.

Please contribute today. http://www.deansantoro.com

In Liberty,
Dean Santoro
